Jim became interested in Telephony while acting as the Director of Administration for a Major Insurance company in San Francisco. Seeing an opportunity in 1984 to open a business, he trained and become proficient in cabling and wiring, and basic telephony skills. Over the years, Jim has enhanced his skills through formal classes, seminars and company provided training to become an Authorized and Certified PanasonicTelephone provider.

JCK Communications was founded as a Partnership, and operated for many years as such. After the departure of the beloved Brad Howard, Jim created the business structure as it is today (a Limited Liability Company), and operates it with two technicians. Although the workforce is small, we're mighty and stand able to service our existing clients, while adding selected clients each week. Fortunately, our flagship product line, the Pansonic, is reliable and requires little repair after installation!
